The Canon Gallery

Established in 1985, The Canon Gallery specialises in fine British and European paintings from the 18th to 20th centuries, including oils and watercolours.

Over the decades, we have handled works by many of the most celebrated artists in art history — from J.M.W. Turner, R.P. Bonington and John Ruskin, to Edward Burne-Jones, George Frederic Watts, and Sir Edward Poynter. Our collection also includes artists from the Barbizon School, the Post-Impressionists, and leading names in Modern British art, such as Henry Moore and Ivon Hitchens.

If you are looking to sell a painting, we offer discreet services to either purchase the work directly or sell it on commission by private treaty.
