Sir David Murray was a Scottish landscape painter , born in Glasgow,he moved to London in 1882. Became an RA in 1905, was also a member of RSA, RSW,RI and an HRSA. His landscapes were always filled with light and colour , with views of England and of the continent.
Duddington is in Lincolnshire, on the river Welland, near Stamford.
